Situated around 36 kms from Khajuraho, Panna National park is one of the most beautiful parks of India. In 1994, it was declared as the 22 Tiger reserve of India and fifth in Madhya Pradesh. Moreover, Panna National Park has got the Award of Excellence’ in 2007 as the well-maintained national park of India by the Ministry of Tourism. The connectivity of Panna Tiger Reserve with the other cities and the roads conditions are excellent, thus tourists from either abroad or India feels this place a worth to visit.
Wildlife : With Tiger being prime animal spotted, other mammals found are Leopards, Wild dogs, Hyenas, Deers , Gaur , Jackals , Foxes, Nilgai, Sloth bears etc. Also, around 200 species of birds are found here which includes lot of migratory birds.
Location : The park is situated in Panna and Chhatarpur districts of Madhya Pradesh.
Best Time To Visit : November to March is the best season to visit.
Temperature : Summer is very hot and dry with temperatures escalating to 40-45°C while winter is cold with temperatures as low as 4-5°C.
