Pench National Park is located in Seoni & Chhindwara districts of Madhya Pradesh . The name of the national park came from the Pench River which flows through the National Park dividing it in two equal parts. Pench National Park was established as a sanctuary in 1977, that status was changed to National Park in 1983. Later in 1992, it was recognized as Pench Tiger Reserve.
Wildlife : Tigers, panthers,jackals, hyenas, sloth bears, wild dogs, barking deer, bison, sambar, herd of deer to name a few.
Location : Chhindwara and Seoni districts , Madhya Pradesh
Best time to visit : October to June
Tourist attraction : Sitaghat, Alikatta, Chhindimatta Road, Bodhanala Range etc.
